Any experience with iC-Haus MHL200 12 bit encoder?

Hi, I have a few of these that I was going to use for a lathe digital readout.
Looking at the data sheet they are very configurable but it doesn’t really tell me if they have any factory parameters set?
I am only wanting the ABZ analog outputs. I’m in over my head if I have to buy an iC-Haus programmer to set it up then it’s a no go.
Can anyone shed any light on how they are setup out of the box?
Here is a link to the data sheet.

I think I only need pins 3/4 and 11/12 for 5v and 0v. Pins 8/9 for AB ( my magnetic strip doesn’t have an index for Z)
Do any of the pins need pull-up/ down?
Hopefully someone has some experience with these encoders?
Thanks v much for your time and help

Cheers
Richard

As nobody’s any idea I’ve returned them to my bits box and ordered some as5311 which I have used before.
A/B works on the MHL-200 using my test setup but seems the interpolation resolution is factory set at 1 so only 4 periods every 2mm pole pitch.
Without the ability to program them they are no use.
Maybe this will help someone considering using them or maybe they can be made to work without specialist programming equipment? Who knows?

I’ve moved on, so much to do and life is speeding by

cheers

What do you need analog outputs for?
Digital are usually preferred,
