Dear all, just a quick introduction of myself. I am from Kuching (a small town in Malaysia) . My real name is Max Su< Mod: deleted link, avoid spamming> and I am Chinese and 25 years old now. I was 21 years old when I stumbled upon this website and learnt a lot of hands-on and software electronics-related stuff. Most of you that are still very active on this website may still remember me posting on this forum.
I want to thank especially the particular one that I really remembered is this person @crutschow for really helping me in engaging electronics. I actually pursued Mechanical Engineering in university but I realized that electronics was my niche and I am always interested on how electronics work.
I am now working as an electronics and Engineer at my local company (Pay and Go Sdn Bhd). If you visit Kuching city, you will be able to see that most our visit to the mall and you have to park your car and we charge some fees based on the duration you parked your car. Or in any major city, I believe that such parking payment system do exists.
After graduated, I actually worked as a M&E consultant (Drawing Pipelines and electrical wiring or some switchboards) and I really disliked and every single day I hated going to work. Then, I made the bossy and brave decision and jumped to this company called Pay and Go as electronics engineer and I really enjoyed it. In this company, my job scope involves refining and writing arduino programming codes on the autopay machine (IT USES ARDUINO UNO AND ESP 32) and of course, require some hardware programming using Arduino IDE. Luckily, I did learnt all these stuff from this forum before or else, I would not have gotten the job. I have been with Pay and Go for 2 years now and everyday I looked forward to going to work.
To be honest, I am really shocked that Arduino and Esp 32 has such a big impact on real-life applications.
Once again, I want to thank you all. Sometimes, a little bit of help can get people to light up their passion.
I have attached all my work job scope as some insights as to what I do in the day as electronics engineer.
