I have measured my 1x2 antenna patch array in an anechoic chamber and have acquired the radiation pattern for the measurements. Were using a 180 degrees hybrid coupler to phase shift the signal, and we are able to get a sum(sigma) and difference (delta) from the coupler.
I am wondering if you guys have any tips for determine the antenna gain and front to back ratio on the antennas. Also, how do we measure the effective "search sector" for the measurements in delta? Were planning on using the nulls to search for direction finding using BLE.
i have used this formula, as we do not have the measurement for the elevation plane.
