Antenna + Frequency Multiplier

Is it possible to have a simple set up of an antenna receiving 2.4GHz, passing through a passive frequency multiplier (given the RF wave has sufficient power to drive the component) to be doubled and then re-emit the doubled frequency from the same antenna?
Thanks.

It certainly is.....and in general that's something you want to avoid! Cell phone installations, in particular are increasingly more aware of "passive intermodulation distortion" which is non-linear "diode like" properties of many metal to metal connections. Unfortunately some of these connections require far LESS power than an "official" mixer to do their dirty deeds!
