Portland Police Recover Stolen PETA Chicken Protest Truck
The truck heist is the latest in a series of high-profile auto thefts in Portland in recent years.

The truck, dubbed by PETA the “Hell on Wheels” chicken truck, was parked in a residential area near the intersection of Southeast Flavel Street and 82nd Avenue when it was stolen. It was found July 7 near Eastmoreland Golf Course by Portland police officers responding to a different call.

The Portland Police Bureau reported that the exterior wrap had been stripped off and all of the sound equipment inside had been taken. The thieves left behind a set of “jangle keys,” which they used to hijack the truck.

I've seen that (and some similar ones) before. At first blush, you go WTF??? What possible rational explanation could there possibly be? Then, when explained, it turns out to make perfect sense.

Drinking someone else's milk straight from the jug costs B.C. real estate agent $20,000

Rose went to the refrigerator to find water, according to the consent order, but instead swigged some milk straight from the container, which he then put back in the refrigerator.

The consent order, agreed by both the superintendent of real estate and Rose, said the owners of the home saw him drinking the milk when they reviewed footage from a surveillance camera, then confronted him about it two days later.

Butter coffee is a hot, blended beverage in which you blend freshly brewed coffee with butter, and often an additional fat: usually MCT oil," says Ariane Resnick, CNC, private chef and bestselling author of five books, including "Wake/Sleep: What to Eat and Do for More Energy and Better Sleep." MCT, or medium-chain triglyceride, is a type of fat considered easier for the body to digest than other fats.

To make butter coffee, she explains, you blend brewed coffee with a tablespoon of butter and, if you want MCT oil, a tablespoon of that, as well. Adding a sweetener is typical but for those following keto, they'll opt for liquid stevia or allulose, since caloric sweeteners aren't allowed.

Butter coffee is often a breakfast substitute. "I recommend it as a breakfast replacement and that's its usual role," says Resnick. "It's too much additional fat to have with breakfast unless you have high fat and calorie needs."

EXCLUSIVE: Ex-partner of accused Oregon kidnapper denies FBI allegations
That same day, Klamath Falls police served a search warrant where they discovered what appears to be a makeshift cinderblock cell. Zuberi’s ex-partner said it was a misunderstanding, and Zuberi was attempting to build out a spare bedroom.

“It’s not a cinderblock, it’s a room,” she said. “They keep saying it’s a cinderblock. It’s a room, he’s just trying to expand. Everywhere I know him, he never ever built something like that. All he was trying to do was expand subleasing.”

Law enforcement also discovered disturbing notes they allege were written by Zuberi. One of the pages was titled ‘Operation Takeover.’ Zuberi’s ex-partner would not comment specifically on the notes, but says she could never imagine the kidnapping and imprisonment that the FBI alleges took place.

“One thing I know, he would never bring anybody to his home where his own kids live, sleep, where he has tenants coming in and out.”
