PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - Details about a live autopsy performed in a downtown Portland hotel are sending shockwaves through the community and across the country.

According to the event's organizer, a company called Death Science, the autopsy was billed as a "cadaver lab class," which was held at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront Hotel on October 17th. Tickets were available to the public for between $100 and $500, and attendees were able to observe an anatomical dissection on a human cadaver, both virtually and in-person. Death Science paid more than $10,000 for the cadaver.

So today I started a re-foam of my 12" Cerwin-Vega woofers, so after doing the prep work (cleaning off the old foam) I moved one cleaned speaker into the living room and placed it on one of the end tables and left the room, returned after a few minutes to find the lamp flickering like crazy...so I quickly removed the speaker and the flickering stopped.

The bulbs are 3 way LED.

Now that was weird!

Cars are fighting back.
One person is dead after being crushed to death in an apparent catalytic converter theft. The vehicle is believed to be a Toyota Prius which is highly targeted by catalytic converter thieves due to the easy access of the underside.. Orange County Coroner’s Office in on scene Police are alarmed by the surge in catalytic converter thefts, police have said it only takes about a minute for a converter to be cut off of a car. Catalytic converters are being stolen for the precious metals inside that can be scrapped for money. In college some or the guys knew I was taking organic chem and one approached me about making him some MDA (now known as crystal meth) from Sassafras Oil. Something one of his friends up north used to do. Sassafras Oil?!?! I told him I had no idea as to how to do it. A few days later I heard some guys drank the Sassafras Oil and got pretty messed up from it except it was making them puke strongly and long. Asked a guy where the heck were they getting it from? He said the local pharmacy, so I went there and asked Dr. Smithers what he could tell me about Sassafras Oil. He laughed and said it was real funny, he'd carried the stuff for many years and no one ever asked for it until a few days ago and why was I asking him about it. Told him about the guys drinking it to get high and how sick it was making them. Dr. Smithers turned white as a sheet. He went and got the bottle he had decanted it from and showed it to me. Artificial Sassafras Oil, for external use only! The stuff was poisoning the guy's livers and that was causing the vomiting. The high they were getting was about one step from death by poison! They survived but God only knows how much damage they did to their livers. They did stop drinking it after I spread the word about it. Truley amazing what ignorant folks (and stupid college kids) will do to get high.

Why am I not surprised?

A study on personality has found that narcissism and low intelligence are the best predictors of a belief in astrology, the unfounded belief that big balls of gas millions of miles away are influencing your Tuesday.

Belief in astrology, the authors of the study published in the journal Personality and Individual Differences note, is on the rise, for reasons that are unclear. Studies that have looked into the idea – including one conducted on 20 million people – have found no evidence in its favor. This new study investigated whether individual personality traits could predict belief in unfounded astrology beliefs.
