If the radio altimeter systems have receivers that are stuffed by a 200MHz offset signal then they are unsafe today. 5G usage of the spectrum is just showing up bad RF engineering.

The concern I think is more that the allotted 3.7 - 3.98 GHz bands might somehow interfere with the existing 4.2 - 4.4 GHz transmissions. I don't know if that is a fact but it is a valid question. Retrofitting systems might be cost prohibitive though. Newer 5G devices may just have to be more strictly regulated.

Harkening back to the mid and late 60's when off color jokes were common, jokes such as "Polock" jokes or "Black" jokes - or any other ethnicity, those once common comments are today considered off limits. And though I'm not going to elaborate on it - for fear of being censured, it still can be taken as a racist comment. Since post #6839 when I made my comment - Joey got some fun poked at him. He didn't appreciate the humor and responded. I know, I remember his comments. As of this post, he has removed his responses. Joey; if you're still with us - please don't take insult when we poke a little fun your way. We don't want to insult you and don't want you to go away (shortbus - don't say it!). I, for one, appreciate your humor and wit. Hope you had a good Christmas and have an even better New Year. In fact, I hope everyone had a good Christmas, and I wish everyone a better 2021.
