11foot8.com is one of my favorites. We've got one of those tight squeezes here too, in the suburbs just west of Philly, on a road I used to drive to work each day. One day I was behind a flatbed carrying blocks of raw styrofoam, probably 8 feet by 4 feet by 2. His load was at least several feet too high, and he went into that underpass at full speed. The truck was unharmed, but the mess on the road was just amazing!

 

Yup, when I lived in TN, about 4 miles out of town on a windy county road was a 12' RR underpass. Caught a few of em every year. There was no way a semi could turn around if it left out of town on that road.
