In spite of having worked for many different (navigation) companies, I recall going for that "psicotécnico" just once but with most of them, yes, I had a more or less complete physical examination.

For what I know from others, in jobs ashore, the psicotécnico is quite common.

Myself surprised by those surprised of that, wondering in what other way could you find out if someone is daltonic, dislexic, stutterer, unable to comprehend reasonably simple texts...?
