Andrew Sawyer, a spokesperson for Raleigh-Durham International Airport, has also confirmed that the plane in question was never even evacuated, but deplaned “normally” after landing. The airport’s comments do suggest that at least one passenger was affected by an odor issue after leaving the aircraft.

This is amazing! I was just listening to a local talk show host and he started to mention this incident when the link went dead. I was getting online to read about the rest of the story when I saw your link.

I have been planning a trip to the Couer D' Alene bike trail in Idaho. Yesterday I was on a ride thinking about the trip and the trail while I was listening to a talk show. Within minutes of me thinking about the trail, a woman called in with the name of Alene.

Pretty spooky.

Two in a row, I know... but this one is really, really weird! :D
I don't know why you didn't pick this one on the same page:
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-40627847

Is that because:
1) It isn't weird to be killed in your "pyjamas" by a police officer in the U.S.?
2) We're ignoring police murders because the War on Cops Thread was closed by mods?
3) That story wasn't posted at the moment you read about the contact lens issue?
4) Other?

This dude totaled my wife's car this morning cops were going to let him walk until I told them I just got off the phone with a few of my law enforcement friends and just waiting to obtain his name, I said if you haven't done a background check and I find out he has priors there will be hell to pay.

This is just one offense, the guy has a rap sheet a mile long, he was bailed 4 hrs later.

OAKLAND — Four members of a crew filming a television reality show in downtown Oakland were robbed at gunpoint Monday night of $50,000 worth of equipment and personal items, according to a victim and authorities.

The head of the crew said he was thrown up against a wall and that he and the other victims were forced to lay on the pavement, where the two robbers put guns to their heads and threatened them

Chris Burns, 37, an independent director of photography for the AwesomenessTV production “This Is Summer,” a reality show that follows eight 17-year-olds growing up in the Bay Area, said Wednesday the robbery “was really, really scary. It’s the most terrifying robbery I’ve ever been a part of.”
