The whole drunk chihuahua story is full of holes. Besides the previously mentioned issues, The doctor claims it was Vodka - of course he thought it was Vodka, his name was DIMITRI (he probably thinks every clear liquid is vodka). Also, the dog is a chihuahua! Those dogs will only drink tequila - obviously!
Do you know what the word vodka means in russian? It means "little water" ... so yes, Dimitri's first choice when he saw that clear liquid was probably vodka

Of course it means little water. It is a lot of alcohol and a little water.
Good one... but down here, Vodka normally contains about 42% pure alcohol and the rest is water. For me at least, vodka is the most tasteless of all hard liquors. That's why most people mix it with something else... all that advertising about genuine, fine vodka means nothing to me, since vodka has no congeners.

"...the British Medical Association found vodka to be the least likely drink to give you a hangover. It is so pure it contains no ‘congeners’, or by-products made during fermentation, which are difficult for the body to break down."

IN the US it has to be called "flavored vodka" if there is anything other than alcohol and water. So, no taste. I laugh at the thought of "premium" vodkas. How to separate fools from their money.

Yeah... I bet that for them $10k seems like a joke now that they're being seriously sued by that unfortunate passenger
You are confusing Delta (offering up to $10k) with United (asking cops to re-accommodate a passenger into an overnight stay on his trip from LA to Tennessee (and perform some complementary amateur dental work on the passenger)).

Your confusion makes me think that Delta's effort to be first to announce their higher seat rebates maybe should have been delayed until the United PR failure has run its course.

First, vodka does have a taste. It is subtle, but best experienced when the vodka is ice cold. I store mine in the freezer.

Secondly, vodka can be smooth or harsh, depending on what is fermented to make it. Here in New England, USA, there is a local distillery that makes vodka from MILK. It is s_m_o_o_t_h and flavorful. They also make one from maple syrup, but I prefer the former.
