I have a Norwegian sister-in-law, who's living with my brother in Oslo. One day when she went to the super market to buy groceries, she found a $1,000.00 krone bill (about $100.00 USD) laying on the ground at one of the isles. She picked it up, called the manager, and handled him the bill, telling him where she found it. The manager thanked her, and told her that he'd take it from there.

Three weeks later she went back to the store, and had completely forgotten about the incident. When she was at the cashier, the manager approached her, and told her that since in all that time no one had stepped forward claiming the bill, it was now legally hers. And gave her the $1,000.00 krone bill back...

Now, I've been around, and I know of no other place on Earth with that level of honesty and integrity... I find it admirable. But I'm sad to say that I know people that have told me that it's stupid. Very sad indeed.

I noticed a young woman getting on the elevator. It "appeared" like a $50 bill had fallen from her pocket. I quickly scooped it up, blocked the elevator door and handed her the $50.

I mentioned "appeared" because of her reaction. She looked puzzled . Never thanked me. No smile No real acknowledgement of any kind Just said "OK". To this day I think that the $50 had been laying there all the time. No one noticed it. When she walked over the bill, it caused it to flip and what my eye saw was it fell from her pocket. I regret not asking her if she lost some money instead of just handing it to her.

PA indecent exposure laws have three requirements...
1) if they are nude in any public place where someone would be offended.
- clearly CBS Local could not find an offended person to interview.
2) in the presence of a large crowd
- Monroeville mall is a wasteland - there are no crowds.
3) in a location where the "actor" would anticipate viewing by persons under 16-years-old
- it was a weekday (the kids should be in school or take their after-lunch nap).

It was Miracle Mile Shopping Center. But probably equally deserted. I think that is the shopping mall where I bought my first Xcellite took kit to start my career in electronics. at 15 years old. I purchased it at a Heath Kit store as I recall. There were no nude women there at the time.

Forty three years later, I still have the toolkit with almost all of the original tools.

I'm wondering how the photographer talked himself into being charged with criminal solicitation.
There is nothing criminal about soliciting a person to pose for photography.
"Criminal conspiracy"? Criminal talking about a crime? The crime of photography?
"Disorderly " photography?
(Possession of substances seems easy enough to understand, unless the substances were photographs.)

At least he didn't get beaten or shot.
