The Marines, a night on the town.
http://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/world/americas/article152948834.html
Three married U.S. Marine officers have found themselves under investigation for a night in February that went off the rails in Bogotá, involving allegations they went drinking with some local women, were slipped illicit drugs, robbed of U.S. property and landed in a local hospital emergency room.
...
Somewhere along the way, according to the report, two of the men were slipped benzodiazepine, probably in their drinks. And all three drank aguardiente, a highly intoxicating Colombian liquor, before returning to their hotel with the four women. Subsequently, someone stole Mueller’s work laptop and iPhone 6 as well as McDuffie’s iPhone 6, all government-issued equipment. Mueller’s personal iPad and iPhone were also stolen, the report said, as were McDuffie’s personal iPhone and iPod and cash.

“It is impossible to know at what point Col. McDuffie amd Maj. Mueller were poisoned by their companions or when the drugs took effect,” Farrell wrote in the report. “It is indisputable however that Col. McDuffie and Maj. Mueller placed themselves in a situation that directly resulted in being drugged, robbed, hospitalized and the loss of U.S. government property.”
This brings back fond memories of bringing back guys on liberty after they were slipped a mickey in some dive bar and then taken down to their underwear by some seahag.

While both of those ideas come from Iijima’s own mental simulation, he also spoke about a recent comment from Minister of Defense Tomomi Inada. At a press conference in April, Inada spoke about the possibility of female Ground Self-Defense Force personnel being assigned to combat roles in infantry and tank units, positions they haven’t been given in the past. So what’s Iijima’s take on such a possibility?

“In actual combat, if they are under attack from artillery shells or bombs, there is a chance their clothes could be blown off. In other words, they’d be naked.
The guy has watched too many cooking shows.

Is that a catfish in your shorts or are you happy to see me?

This guy sure went through an awful lot of trouble for a stupid prank.

At 9:30 p.m., during the second period, the catfish sailed over the glass around the rink and flopped onto the ice, police say.
I thunk the reporter should specify whether the "flopping" was passive or active (I infer passive).

In any case, be forewarned: fish on ice is now a crime.

Jesse Karmazin agrees. His start-up, Ambrosia, is charging about $8,000 a pop for blood transfusions from people under 25, Karmazin said at Code Conference on Wednesday. Ambrosia, which buys its blood from blood banks, now has about 100 paying customers. Some are Silicon Valley technologists, like Thiel, though Karmazin stressed that tech types aren’t Ambrosia’s only clients, and that anyone over 35 is eligible for its transfusions.
How to stay young and thirsty.
