Keep in mind that the media sells mainly two products: Fear and Scandals ... it doesn't matter if their news are real or fake as long as they draw attention and clicks...

 

Oh baloney. It depends on what media outlet you consume. I know several that provide information and education. But I suppose you are right in some sense. There are plenty of outlets selling fear. Take Fox for example. And fox can be very addictive, especially for people who think of themselves as Conservatives. What does that mean anymore?

 

So Amazon it making the “difficult” decision to shutting down their service? I suppose it’s not making enough money.

Watch yourself, you're treading on hallowed ground talking about Fox to this crowd. But I totally agree, Fox, Newsmax and OAN spread more fear and anguish than all of the others combined. and people eat it up, the openly complain that the "other guys" are the ones spreading fear to make money. I watch all of the different "news" channels and only a few are really news anymore, the others are opinion spreaders, for those that can't think for themselves.

 

Sadly, journalism is an almost extinct line of work...
