Hi there and thanks for reading this post , maybe you can help identify this part of a air pressure controller. i have deemed faulty.
The controller is for a small wax injector using low air pressure to force wax into moulds. This box along with all the circuity inside has a 8 programmable front panel to allow for a quick ajusting of the air pressure in the main wax tank . having connected all the hoses to the back panel which is the back of this part, the large silver componet pictured , what ever it may be, cannot maintain the set pressure and spits small bursts of air every 2 to 3 seconds. what is the part, and can there be a replacement available , the one pictured is over 20 years old. and replacements are not available through the manufacturing company.
