Adding Momentary Stops to 120v AC drill

I will look into the 3pdt for sure,

The drill trigger is how to turn it on.
But if you are ok using drill trigger my first suggestion works with no drill mods.
Do you see how 3p switch works.
Spring to center.
Hold one way for for. until release or limit.
Hold other way for rev. until release or limit.
A & F are wires from drill.
H & N ac line.

i really like that idea. i wanna toss 1 more option out that i have and its this switch i got from an elevator
I have the same problems ill wire LEFT and Right seperatly to top and bottom and allow power to run to drill normally but it will only run forward not reverse

You could add more blocks to that switch. It's not made to carry motor current though. Plus they are more complex than you could ever imagine. Seems like simple on off but much more to configuring than first look might suggest.
