Adding magnets/magnetism strenght...

Hi.
You have a magnet capable of holding/pulling a single object of say 1 Kg of iron.
If you have a dozen of those magnets, can they be arranged in a way that can pull/hold a single object of say 12 KG ?

Like in series, NS NS NS NS NS NS NS NS NS NS NS NS

Or in parallel, if there was a way to do such,

Or ?

From their site, " Does stacking magnets together make them stronger?
Yes, two or more magnets stacked together will behave exactly like a single magnet of the combined size. For example, if you stacked two of our 1/8" thick D82 disc magnets to form a 1/4" thick stack, the two magnets would have about the same magnetic strength as the 1/4" thick D84 discs. This is described in more detail in the second half of our article about Doubled Forces"
