Hello there.

I am making a series of cast resin lamps using LED "fairy lights" as the light source and am hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction on how to add an inline inset switch to them. This sort of thing is not my area of expertise but I do have decent DIY skills.

The strings of LED lights that are powered via USB, I am using only one string per lamp. An example of the lights can be found here: http://amazon.com/gp/product/B085T1R324/ref=ox_sc_mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1DMGJ9FLRMGYY

I would like to add a rocker switch to control them (On/Off) that will be mounted in the lamp itself. The type of switch would look similar to this one:

Would anyone be able to describe how I would wire this up, and also know of a compatible switch that is similar in design to the one linked above (a round inset rocker switch)

Thanks you so much for any reply you might provide.
