Hi

I have a Sonoff 4CHPRO that controls a DC Motor wired as per below. All works fine except I would like to add a physical switch to the setup.

How could I add 2 momentary push button switches (1 forward/1 reverse) to this circuit?

Do you need it to be 2 pushbuttons?

A DPDT momentary toggle with center off would do the job.

Otherwise, you will need 2 DPST NO push buttons.

 

Also, before designing any manual controls make sure the controller disengages both power lines to the motor when not controlling the motor.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I have considered using DPDT toggle switch - but preference is for push buttons.

I need a bit of help with the circuit and where to wire the switches in, assume a few diodes would be required as well. Any chance someone could draft up a diagram to help me out ?
