Looks like the mirror or edge of a windshield got you to make an arc like that. The headlamp would have wiped you out. did an witnesses give you any details.
Like I said.
It was a too wheeler, I was crossing, almost made to the other side, suddenly saw this bright headlight.
I suddenly held my hands to block it, and next thing I know, something hit my head ( I am sure it was not the cycle as I saw the driver's head coming towards me ) and then I was on my four.

The I felt the pain on my forehead, I held my head and knew that blood was dripping down my hand. I was dizzy, it was dark, I cannot make out the faces of the people around me.
I heard the drive saying to me and I quote " Why did you came in front of the cycle".
I know the cycle and the driver did not fell. I guess he jammed the brakes a little too late.

He did held me and a crowd gathered, and muttering, "blood" "take him to hospital."
I asked the guy who took me to hospital about the driver and he said he duuno where he is.
The cop and the entrance came and asked. " Do you wanna press charges?"
I asked "Against who?"

The End.

A shame no one got the name of the driver.

That is a good sign that you remember most of the details. No short term memory lose. How is your long term memory? any issues?

I got a scar like that back in my single days. I went through the wrong half of a half-open, sliding glass patio door. Spent hours in the ER getting examined and stitched up. Finally got home and realized I had another gash on my rib cage. I did NOT go back for that one!

I've often wondered what people I meet must think about it. In 35 years, no one has ever mentioned it that I can recall. Maybe they're so put off by the rest of my face that a long scar doesn't matter much.
