I was on the way to get the wife.
Me got no horns.
The other guy is fine.

A head on collision to a motor cycle at light speed. I was crossing the street.
I saw a head light, then bang, and I was flying and landed like a cat on to the street.
Guy helped me up and took off, I could not see clearly.
By standers took me to EPR.

The numbing injection was the worst part.

Did you upset the wife?

My money is on frying pan. I don't care what R!f@@ says. :p

Just had an injury in the same spot. Woke up this morning with a horrible charlie horse (leg cramp). Jump out of bed to put pressure on it. The pain was so severe, I started to pass out. Got myself lowered down to the ground but not low enough. Bounced my head off of my hardwood floor. I still have a nice bump.

You didn't get a concussion?

Back in the seventies I crashed into a rock, and had 9 stitches over my right eye. Welcome to the club.

Hope the head works as it usually does.

The body reacts weirdly to injuries sometimes. It can focus on the most critical sometimes and mask the lesser issues. You may start to feel pain in other places in the next days.

I know a guy who slipped on a stair while carrying a commercial window. His arm was cut in two places and that was the big deal with many stitches and tendon surgury. It took about three days before he noticed his sore ankle (broken) and severe bruises on his chins.

Take care of yourself.

I am glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been and hope that you heal quickly. It sounds like you might have slight damage to some ribs on your left side. That might take a long time to go away, but I hope the discomfort ends soon.

By the way, nice 'stache!

It was deep. Very bloody. Bleeding never stopped until I reached EPR
I avoided the graphic photo's.

'stache ? I know I need a trim.
I was too busy this month to visit the saloon. :p

In the US, most doctors would have called a plastic surgeon to do facial stitches and he would have given you 15 to 30 small stitches with less tension to minimize scaring. Your bill would be $15k or more.

Looks like the mirror or edge of a windshield got you to make an arc like that. The headlamp would have wiped you out. did an witnesses give you any details.
