Hi. Is there such a product as a 7 segment to matrix decoder?

EDIT: I mean, a decoder that would take 7 segment data, and energize only one led at a time in a matrix array.

EDIT: Actually, when I think about it, it's not that I need a matrix decoder as such, what I do need is a decoder that will take 7 segment display and produce an output on a single line. So, 7 segment data would go in, and the output would be a 10 line output, only one line HIGH at any one time.

 

No, no such device. You would have to make one.

 

Tell us what you're using it for, maybe you can use the binary inputs of the segment drivers, to give you that result, otherwise use a microcontroller to reverse the process.
