New member here. I have a 4S 12.8 volt 300 mah lipo salvaged from a jump starter, and I want to use. It to power a shortwave radio. I want to build a balanced 4s charger for this battery using tp4056 modules, but the charge voltage of these boards is 4.2 volts. So the question is, can I use a diode on the output of the tp4056 board to lower the voltage applied to the cells, or is there a problem with this approach?

That should read 3000 mah. Sorry.
