I have to operate a 230Vac pump with a microprocessor for a few seconds, what do you think of this solution?

well I had not seen ... considering that I use a TRIAC BTA08 and that the load will be a 230Vac 3A pump the resistance from 39ohm okay?

I would add the 330R from the Gate as shown in the datasheet also move the series 39R,10nF across the Triac.

The BTA08 d/s states snubber less, but I would fit the 39R and 10nF

 

so do you advise me to follow the diagram as indicated in the datasheet?

That d/s circuit has been discussed many times on the Forums and to my knowledge has always worked as expected.
I have also used similar circuits with good results.
