Yes I agree. I bought his kit and built it exactly but there were additional modifications that had to be made, beyond his videos, to get it to work properly. But it did inspire me to try my own design of a 16 bit computer.
My issue is that he's profiting from work that should, at times, be embarrassing to him. But he has no shame.Most of the architecture came out of a book with minor modifications.

We are in a time where people can say and do almost anything over the internet. I don't think its a bad thing an average joe can fill his pockets by teaching something that he is reasonably proficient in. I don't mean in an engineering capacity, but he did make a working computer and recorded every step.
