Hi, I need to simulate on a virtual breaboard a 0-99 counter. I need to build it using a 7 segment led display, 74LS47 decoder and a 74LS107A JK flip flop.
I allready build it but doesnt work at all.

Could you post a schematic so we don't have to trace your wiring and lookup pin functions on the IC's?

Hi. I followed these schematic below, with different TTL but still JK flip flop so I touhgt it would still work. Ill post here everything I used.

Yes, Thats what I supose that my circuit should be, but its just an interpretation from the other circuits I saw and my teacher´s homwork.

There are some inconsistencies. In your protoboard layout. I see 74LS47 and no 555-timer circuit.
In your circuit diagram I see CD4511.

I don't see any connections to pins 3, 4, 5 on the 74LS47. Make sure LAMP TEST input on pin-3 is at Vcc.

There are simple signal tracing you can do on your own. Use a 1kΩ resistor in series with an LED and use this as a signal probe.
Start with tracing the 555-timer clock signal at a low frequency of about 1Hz.
Trace the signal to your flip-flop and the DCBA inputs of the 74LS47.

As I understand I apply 1 since in order to activate the clear It needs a 0. That worked in my Last circuit, also with the 107A.
And thats why I use a nand.

Hi thanks for answering! The diagram with CD4511 its not mine. Its the One I used yo figure it out how to do It. Also the program I have ti use its limited and doesnt have any kind of resistor. I'll check out the rest thanks!

Nope, and my teacher wants to do the circuit with this specific program.
I checked and neither have a 555.

 

On your first 74LS107 stage what is the CLOCK input?
Does your simulator have some kind of square wave function generator?

You also have floating pins on the first LS47.


You also need current limiting resistors on the outputs.

You also have segments d and e reversed.
