Wiring Issues with a door releasing.

Scenario: We have a sliding door that receives a signal from the dormakaba lock to stop opening from the outside at a certain time of day. Once that happens, if you use your rfid card on the lock, it releases the slider controller and enables the motion sensor. This part of the setup is working, but we also have a button on a intercom that should also release the door, but this part is not working. Is that because the lock is overriding the signal?? I cant figure out what else it could be. Anyone have any ideas on any relay or something I need? I am attaching a diagram I made to show it.

What or where does the EL from the intercom connect to?
From your drawing it appears the intercom has a separate 12 volt supply with no common connection to the door processor controller.

Thanks for that, i made a small mistake on the diagram that I need to correct. They are connected to port 6 on the controller. When you push the release on the intercom, it is supposed to activate the motion sensor on the door so that the person can get in the building. But, it isnt working when the dormakaba reader is activated to keep the door locked.

That would make sense it's being overridden by the dormakaba.
So the intercom release does work if the dormakaba is not connected?
What about port 7 or port 8, what are they used for?
Alternately a timed relay circuit to disconnect the dormakaba when the intercom button is pressed seems feasible.

Can you confirm the intercom release works if the RFID is not connected?
I was able to find a PDF on that controller which appears fairly sophisticated.
From what I've read initially I don't think a relay is needed if the controller is setup correctly.

Well, the RFID lock is what engages the lock. So, if it isnt connected, then nothing ever locks. We shouldnt have to touch the door programming using this setup. I just need some cheap relay that will disable the communication from the rfid lock, when the release is pushed at the intercom.

When the door is locked by the RFID and you disconnect that wire from terminal 6 will the door be unlocked?
A relay will work but need some info on the RFID and Intercom button.
I need to know if there is voltage on port #6 when the RFID is in the lock and unlocked mode.
Also any voltage on the wire coming from the Intercom button measured not connected to port #6 please.

I found some info on the RFID that shows 3 wires coming from a set of relay contacts.
Can you tell what those wires are connected to?
