Wireless Technology Recommendation - Small Arduino Sensor

Hey folks,

I want to build a small wireless sensor based on Ardiuno. I want to transmit minimal data wirelessly over a few km and then process it.
Sensor would include temperature, sound, humidity, GPS. It would be nice to have a sensor and central receiver that could upload data to internet.

I have researched some wireless technologies. I've looked at the LoRa technology the most. It is impressive in the fact I have seen examples where with a direct line of sight contact data connection can be made at 200 km!

Before i continue looking into selecting the right parts, gateways, etc, does anyone have any experience with my situation?
Is LoRa even a good choice for my application?

Direct sight at 200 km is possible when transmitter and receiver are mounted on top of 828 m height towers each.
