Is it possible to change win 10 desktop behavior?
Is it possible to have desktop minimize all open windows, when opening a new window.? Can I set this behavior as default?
The exception would be re-opening from task bar.

Why? The newly opened program will just open right over any open programs...
Why would you need to minimize all the rest? I see no point..

Because I am getting old and I am starting to suffer the DTs. In other words my hands are starting to shake.

And I don't notice when the cursor slips off of top window. Then when I go to scroll, it brings up bottom window instead.

After a few thousand times, it becomes annoying.

If it's possible, I would like to apply this solution.

What about just getting in the habit of hitting the "Show Desktop" button then starting a new program.. That will minimize all open windows
or
Press the Windows logo key
+D. Then start your program

dacflyer......Yes....used car lot phone number.
Nice unit in your icon. Had a fella take me up in one similar, over the Guatemalan jungle.
Quite an adventure.

mcgyvr..........thanks for the suggestion........but the idea is to avoid using those operations.
