Why did my Triac explode?

I found the Gerber files for PCB used to control a Universal Motor from an old washing machine HERE.

This is the finished article:




But as you can see, the Triac exploded when I applied 240VAC.

There is the circuit diagram:



I'd really appreciate any light you could guys could throw on the subject.

FYI: I didn't have the correct CAP for C10 (I used 47n instead of 100n) could that have caused the failure?

I read the drawings carefully it seem somewhere a wrong circuit diagram.

Line1 230vac is entering to pin2 of ic tda1085c while the Line2 230vac is entering to pin3 and as a common
ground..This circuit is dangerous cause the live or a neutral line is connected as common ground.
Not only the triac will explode but you are in danger. Please review the circuit.
