Why can't I fix my own titles? Seems this is pretty common on a lot of forums. Is there a reason only mods can fix titles? You should at least get to fix it for some time period or until someone else posts to the thread.

 

Above the first post and to the left of "Watch/Unwatch Thread" is a "Thread Tools" pull down that allows you to edit the title.

Thanks. You know I thought I remembered this but I thought you had to put the post into edit mode. And the option does not appear in edit mode.

I've only started a handful of threads, but the latest was recent enough that I remembered seeing the extra option...

 

In the orange theamed version you get "thread tools" - watch -- previous thread and next thread

In the threads you start "Thread tools" appears. here you can correct the title or add a poll (drop down box). They aren't in the big orange list, but almost hidden grey text like "Report" is written in.

Without the underlining. It's at the TOP of the thread and not the bottom.
