I was thinking & I was watching SuperNatural.
The actors drink a lot. It's always vodka or something.
And when drunk, it was said tht u'll need coffee.

Now I drink coffee. That is strong black coffee with a fag. Get's me going.

I make coffee with just around 500ml water and two tea spoon of nescafe'.
Need to stir it strong to get the taste.

And while watching it hit me.."Vodka + coffee" .

Any one tried ?

 

Kahlúa and Vodka comprise a drink called a Black Russian. Very popular drink in the US during the 70's and 80's.

Kahlúa is a coffee liqueur.
The drink is 3, 4, or 5 parts Vodka to 2 parts Kahlúa.
The Vodka is poured over ice first followed by the coffee liqueur.

Coffee and Vodka will work but be prepared to add a considerable amount of sugar to remove the bitterness.

I preferred Tia Maria mixed with Vodka rather than Kahlúa back during the day.

You put a coin in a coffee cup. Then you pour coffee in the cup, until you don't see the coin, the you pour vodka or moonshine in the cup, until you see the coin. - Cheers and good night!

 

The thought is that the coffee will keep you more alert when you get drunk....quite a concept.

Some places they mix a drink with Jägermeister and Battery. You get wide awake and drunk. Or Fishermans Friend and Battery.

Yes, I think it would. On the other hand... Nowadays there is not so much Moonshining in my area, as it used to be. The market is run over by cheap eastern Europe vodka.

Typically if someone makes as we call it "Irish Coffee" their typically labeled a alcoholics. Were a bing culture where its appauling to have a drink in the morning, but as long as you wait till 5pm you can drink all night everynight.

yeah, wtf is that all about? Sometimes when I work around the house I drink, starting in the morning. I joke about being an alcoholic when I do that, but I'm not. I might drink 2 or 3 times/month.

 

Lately I have started having a beer on odd occations, rarely. Previous, it was wine once or twice a year, during the holidays. My family does have a history of alcoholism, so this is a good thing for me.
