Nice to see someone else here who dives. What level of diver are you? And if you are certified at least at Advanced Diver...what wrecks have you dove?Hello everyone, thought I might introduce myself. I am currently studying B/Eng (Hons) Electronic Engineering at Staffordshire University, completing a years industrial placement working for "Capula". They are a company based in the UK who "specialise in advanced automation control and real-time IT solutions for Energy and Utility companies."
Mid June I will be travelling to the USA for the first time ever, to work at a Science and Engineering camp called "Watonka" in PA for 2 months, before touring for a month and returning home to complete my final year of studies.
In the future I hope to secure a job in this area with international job prospects, with a view of moving abroad.
Besides Electronics, my other hobbies and interests include, modular origami, website development, SCUBA diving and model railways.
I have visited over 70 underwater wreck sites in just about all the major oceans of the world. Many of these were below 200 ft and Heliox was required. I have also used a Rebreather as well as visited USN. Wreck sites some of which I cannot talk about.
If I am not touring during the summer...I enjoy going on Bug Hunts...grabing Lobsters...off Cape Ann...Gloucester Ma...and many places on Cape Cod.
No matter where you go on Earth....Master Diver's from every continent will tell you..."Oh...you dive in New England? I guess I don't have to worry about you."
