Hello all, first post so bear with......

Have a slide gate operator that has relay outputs, dry contact that are switchable from No/NC. What I need is a device that when the gate operator gets to it's open limit and the relay closes, (constant for as long as it's on the open limit) I can get a momentary output to signal and indicator light and or buzzer.

So in short, constant input to momentary output.

I have 24vdc on board power availible or an extra plug for any transformer power needed. Thank you

So you want a momentary indicator light to flash when the gate reaches it's limit?

A 555 timer can do that. They operate at a maximum of around 16V, so you could use a voltage regulator to drop the 24V you have available to something in the range of 5-15V. You can use the NO contact to trigger the one shot.

I assume the NO output will ground its output when the limit is reached.

If this is what you want, I can draw a schematic for you.

How long is that momentary signal?? How many seconds? A very brief pulse can come from a capacitor output connection, but that would be less than a second.
Is the relay that operates when the gate is fully opened AC powered or DC powered.???
