I have a projects to school and complete an essay about a CanStress circuit.I wanted to know , because I did not found any valid informations about this subjects. So,what happened to a CAN Node WHEN you create some short circuits on the CAN BUS( CANH to GND , CANL TO GND, CANH TO CANL TO GND, VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO CANH AND VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO CANL)
Also, what could happen if u could choose with some switches the termination resistance value( between 60 ohms and 120 ohms )

Thank you very much

CAN bus consists of the physical layer and the application layer.

At the physical layer, CAN bus is usually implemented with paired balanced complementary signals.
If you short a CAN bus node, the bus becomes inoperable.

Bus termination is 120Ω. There is no reason to change the termination resistors to 60Ω.
