I am seeing one LCD monitor - l1953s

The LED doesn`t light and begin to search in the service manual

CHECK J703
VOLTAGE
PIN5, PIN6 (5V)

I really dont see J703 in the schemes when watch at the power board
The only scheme with many pins on the back side i see is U301.

"J" usually denotes a jumper (but I suppose a JFET would be another possibility, depending on the manufacturer's practice).

 

i think it`s about a IC but they have numbers different from 703. Probably it`s for u301 on the back side of the board

I guess that means "check that none of the power supply rails is shorted".

 

'Jxxx' refers to a connector... used to mean 'Jack'
The connector in question appears to have at least ten pins, from the service manual
