and oh yes, a bottle of Jack Daniels... Mmmm the best.
The Jack Daniels distillery is about 40 miles from where I live. George Dickel is even closer....
If you take a tour of the distillery they give you a sample drink of "Jack in the Yellow" which is lemonade made with the same spring water that they use for the liquor...(for those that don't know, Jack in the Black is one of their whiskies)

Unfrotunately its in TN so Sundays are always dry. Plus I though Lynchburg was a dry county, peroiod
The booze laws here vary from county to county. Where I live you can buy beer 7 days a week. You cannot buy liquor by the bottle, but you can by the drink in 3 or 4 places. Next county over, 20 miles away, you can buy it any which way you want.
Lynchburg, as you said, is dry, not even beer is sold there. You cannot buy Jack Daniels where they make it, you have to drive about 15-20 miles.
Any county can change their liquor laws by getting them on a referendum and voting a change.
There's going to be another one coming into the area soon, gonna be
real-legal moonshine (corn liquor). It made the papers that they applied for a federal distillery license and was approved.

No, but they probably will be on the ballot soon.

Oklahoma does as does Lousiana. OK is about two hours north and Lousiana is probably close to three hours east.

I've been to the casinos in OK, at least the one in Tulsa, Sallisaw, and three of them on US 69 south of I-40.

My family does not celebrate Christmas. We come from the former USSR. Personally I am a very religious person, and Christmas is about Jesus to me. My family does not share my beliefs. Its always hard. To them its just another Saturday.

I got no gifts for xmas, but my birthday is coming up on Jan 3rd, so I got some early gifts. This nice new Kodak printer with very cheap ink. Love it. 30 bucks for a pack of color and black ink.

Just imagine, no longer having to be late to class because I have to stop by the lab to print out my report or homework before class. Its wonderful. ;)

you have a great family retched!
Yes..Yes I do.

I am VERY lucky.

My family has not been stingy with their love either. They have been family to many people who were not related to us.

Just people showing what it should be like being human.

Thank you.
