You are wlcome, and if you are doing it for client, i can assure you it is going to look cosmetically very nice. At least it looks much better than the original gasket of the flashlight I have.
One option to consider, especially if some kind of label will be needed, is a debossed label with a tactile switch behind.
That's what I did in the DLI ST101 Vibration Screening Tool. Each of the square pads has a large-button tactile switch topped with a circular cork disk for proper spacing. This design proved quite durable in use with no breakdowns of the label being reported.
The label is adhesively attached and was commercially produced. A key point is the button areas should be debossed, extending slightly above the surface of the label.
I will admit I saw this idea in a Brother printer buffer many years ago.
