Waveshare display flickering

Hi guys,

I have a stable circuit that was working properly but it looks like when the system is running on USB the display is not flickering, but as soon as battery becomes the primary power source the display starts flickering.

I have checked all the voltages, everything is working fine. I strongly suspect the charging circuit might be doing something to the battery power path. Can you please point out where I might be going wrong with this circuit?

I have attached a gif of the video taken when the display is operating on battery, you can see at the top corner of the display there's a flickering. This flicker is not there as soon as I connect the USB.

What is your circuit supposed to do? It is very time consuming to try to understand the overall operation from that type of wiring diagram.

Hi, the circuit over-all is a portable wifi extender. It uses a ESP32 SoC to use the wifi and parallely display some statistics on the display. There's a USB-C input to charge the battery and a charging circuit. There's also a user button to switch Off/ON the product completely and the same button can be used to toggle the display On and Off to save power.
