Thanks for the response Yaakov.
I've translated the PDF and it appears the RROG only effects battery charge current and only if (in the case of the WaveShare board)being charged through the micro USB which given my application is unlikely to ever happen. If my load ever gets beyond 500ma something has gone horribly wrong.
Hello luvv, it's been a while :), I am now searching for the same CS8501 and couldn't find it until I saw your post about the TP5410, as of Scott video he said that the max current output is 300ma although the datasheet says 1 to 1.5A depend on battery voltage, so I wanted to ask you if you did have an issue with the max current not surpassing 300ma?
