I was kicked of around 1:00PM and couldn't get on at 9:00 PM. I'll reset my personal computer when I get home. Something happen, or was it on my end?

 

I coulnd not get on, either. That "DNS lookup error" doesn't make you feel good.

Yup the server was down. The cause was a log file that managed to grow to 125GB, taking up 100% of the HD.

1 TB drives are pretty cheap comparitively speaking. If the hardware is under your control we could up the size. If I bought it, could the site use it.

Thanks for your generous offer Bill. Unfortunately I don't control the hardware directly, the server is rented, not colocated. However, this was more of a human error than us requiring more HD space. After clearing the log file, AAC has more than enough space. The logs *should* have been rotated long ago, and should never have grown to 125GB! I'm taking the necessary steps to make sure this doesn't happen again.
