Voltage multiplier having arcing problem not always some time

Hi everyone,

I am having arcing problem with my voltage multiplier circuit for two stage, Step up transformer output = 5500V at 35 Khz, Capacitors used here 102,30KV(1nf,30KV) in multipliers with diode UX-F15B. Any solutions for this arcing issue

Greater distance or a piece on suitable insuator between the places where the arc occurs. If the arc is across the surface of the PCB then you could mill a slot between the two points to decrease the possibility of an arc.

If the arcing is in air you may want to apply some corona dope and if the arcing is in an oil bath submerged you may want to remove the board, thoroughly wash down the board and then apply some corona dope.
