Hi, In this circuit I am getting the sine wave switching on at -.69v. It should be 14v as set on the switch. Can anybody explain why?
And while on the subject can the voltage controlled switch be used to pass AC voltage? I had expected this circuit to show an alternating voltage at the input of the resistance. But it is only a half wave.

The switch works correctly, it is open when the control voltage exceeds 14 V. Naturally, when the control voltage is negative, it is closed. voltage controlled switch circuit.pngvoltage controlled switch circuit2.pngvoltage controlled switch circuit3.png
