Vcc or 12v+ - Now sure which to use?

I have a PCB with a 12v+ terminal that only connects when a load is applied. So in the schematic, it's like a floating 12v+ that goes nowhere.

I guess an equivalent situation is a PCB that has a terminal for a battery where there's a Negative terminal and a Positive terminal. They don't connect until a battery is installed....but how do you represent those "floating" terminals on a PCB schematic?

Is that best represented with Vcc or a 12v+ symbol (or something else) ?

Thanks

If it is a supply V input, I like to label it as : +12 V DC input. There could be a case where one board supplies another board
