Hi everybody,I like to know if anyone can tell me if the reading on the ESR meter means the varistor is working ok.

You can check that it is not very low resistance, which would mean it has blown up.
If it is very high resistance and not clearly damaged then it is probably OK.
They are designed to only conduct when a high voltage is applied, in this case more than 385V.
