Varistor nomenclature ?

Hello.
Am after replacing a blown varistor 7K221U. From my sources I rely, mostly find 7D221U.
I believe 221 means 220V. What is the 'D' ? Is '7' the diameter ? And to make it complete, what is the 'U' ?
Varistors is not something I play with often :(
