I'm trying to learn about vacuum tube but i don't have many document and i have some problem about theory!
1.Transistor has Ic = b*Ib, can anyone give me an equaiton of vacuum tube: Ip =????

In my opinion, the most similar transistor is the n channel j-fet. It acts like a tube when in proper operation and even allows electrons to flow out of the gate terminal if the input signal goes too far positive.

 

Aye, FET's also generally represent a Transconductance amplifier.
