I've found some USB-C to HDMI Female cables but they are all on the order of a few inches. Does anyone know of one that is about 2 to 4 feet in length?

I don't. It looks like the industry has decided that a "regular" (male-to-male) HDMI cable is what you'll use to cover distance. Everything else is a short adapter.

Frankly I don't disagree. The HDMI cable will hold its value longer than an adapter. I have a drawer full of various adapters that are now obsolete but every HDMI cable I own is in current use.

The HDMI I'm using for my big screen TV is 10 feet long. It's just short by about 2 1/2 feet. I air-play but the only thing I can get is screen mirroring. I'd like to make a drawing on my computer then move the picture to the big screen so I can see dimensions from across the room rather than having to walk back to the computer to get a dimension. Air-play helps but I can't work on other stuff at the same time (relatively speaking).

The TV is over a stairway. I'd have to build scaffolding just to reach the TV. Even moving the cable would require the same thing, scaffolding. A short adapter would make a world of difference in ease of solving the problem.

Glad you discovered something you can put to good use. Note that I was looking for a USB-C to HDMI FEMALE connector with a length of approximately 3 feet. I found what I'm looking for. Glad you found something too.

OK, I had not realized that USB-C was fully intended to make other connections obsolete. Not to offer any real benefit actually. Other than a slight amount of convenience for a few users.
