After my latest windows tablet died for NFR, I am thinking about using an Android tablet for my next buy. I want to use a KVM switch on this so I can use my KVM setup, after looking at all these Android I cannot see any HDMI out. Am I spitting upwind or does such a thing exist? I’m thinking I could change the OS to Linux if I can.

and it seems your phone must have Display Port Alternate Mode (whatever that is)

 

Can you use screen mirroring (WIFI) instead of a cable? I can mirror my iPhone screen to any of my smart TVs or streaming boxes.
