Hi, I am not an electronics expert and I have a basic question. Could you please help me in connecting a 4 wires/lines 3.5 female jack plug with a one wired speaker (I have two speakers)? I have tried all single wire combinations and also a two wire combinations on the speaker single wire but no sound produced. Thank you for assistance.

Your "single wire" is actually a 2-core cable. The pic is blurry, but it doesn't look as though the insulation has been stripped from the ends of those two cores.

Up until the above message, only one conductor was connected.
